- 10 jalapeño peppers, halved and seeded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 10 slices of bacon, halved
- Toothpicks (for securing, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or preheat grill.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half-slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with foil or grill-safe tray.
- Bake or grill for 20–25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the peppers are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
