Caramelized Bananas:
- 3 large ripe bananas, sliced lengthwise
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line with parchment paper.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Prepare Batter: In another bowl, beat sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, and 1/4 cup melted butter until smooth.
- Prepare Pan: Pour remaining melted butter into pan, sprinkle brown sugar evenly, and arrange banana slices on top.
- Add Batter: Gently pour batter over bananas in the pan.
- Bake: Bake for 40–45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
