- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine bananas, sugar, yeast, salt, and nutmeg.
- Add flour and warm water gradually to form a thick batter. Cover and let rise 45 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep pan.
- Drop batter by the spoonful into hot oil and fry until golden brown and puffy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
