Description

These Bang Bang Chicken Sliders are a delightful combination of crunchy, spicy-fresh, and creamy flavors all packed into handheld sliders. Juicy fried chicken patties coated in a sweet-spicy sauce, topped with gooey Swiss cheese, and nestled in toasted sesame buns. Whether for game day or a casual dinner, these sliders are sure to be a hit!

For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders, pounded to 1/2″ thickness
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

For the Sliders:

  • 8 small slider buns
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 Tbsp butter, for toasting buns

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Splash of lime juice

Instructions

  1. Prep Chicken: Season chicken tenders with salt & pepper.
  2. Bread the Chicken: Dredge chicken in flour, then egg, and finally panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Cook: Fry breaded chicken in 2 Tbsp oil over medium–high heat for 3–4 mins per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Make Sauce: Whisk together all Bang Bang sauce ingredients, adjusting sweetness and spice to taste.
  5. Assemble: Lightly toast buns with butter. Layer bottom buns with fried chicken, Swiss cheese, drizzle with sauce, and add the top buns.
  6. Serve: Enjoy immediately while hot and crispy!

Notes

  • You can increase the heat of the sauce by adding more sriracha if desired.
  • Feel free to customize with your favorite cheese or additional toppings.
