Ingredients
Scale
Beef
- 300g beef strips
Vegetables
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
Sauce and Aromatics
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions
- Sear Beef: Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the beef strips and sear until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- Stir-Fry Vegetables: In the same pan, add the bell peppers and broccoli. Stir-fry the vegetables over medium-high heat until they are crisp-tender, approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Add Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the vegetables and cook for an additional 30 seconds, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
- Combine and Season: Return the seared beef to the pan with the vegetables. Pour in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and toss everything together well to evenly coat. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to heat through and allow flavors to blend.
Notes
- Use flank or sirloin steak for tender beef strips.
- Adjust soy sauce quantity for salt preference.
- Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- For added heat, include a pinch of red chili flakes.
- Ensure the pan is hot to achieve proper searing and crisp vegetables.
