Description

A Southern-inspired handheld sandwich featuring crispy chicken tenders, bacon, fresh veggies, and creamy sauce tucked into a soft hoagie roll.


Ingredients

  • 4 hoagie rolls or hot dog buns
  • 4 crispy chicken tenders (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 slices cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1/4 cup ranch or spicy mayo (for spread)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Warm hoagie rolls or buns and slice open without cutting all the way through.
  2. Spread ranch or spicy mayo on the inside of each bun.
  3. Layer in the pickles, followed by one crispy chicken tender per sandwich.
  4. Add a strip of crispy bacon to each, then top with shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion.
  5. Sprinkle with a touch of salt and pepper.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy immediately.
