- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup rainbow sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheet with parchment.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and almond extract.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, then fold in sprinkles.
- Roll dough into small balls and place 2 inches apart.
- Bake 9–11 minutes until edges are set. Cool completely.
Notes
- Chill dough for 10 minutes if too soft to handle.
- Use jimmies-style sprinkles to prevent color bleeding.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
