- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 4 slices prosciutto
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 1 cup shredded romaine or butter lettuce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the baguette or ciabatta in half horizontally. Brush the cut sides lightly with olive oil.
- If using, spread Dijon mustard on one or both halves of the bread.
- Layer the bottom half with shredded lettuce, tomato slices, brie cheese, and prosciutto.
- Season with freshly ground black pepper.
- Top with the other half of the bread, press down gently, and slice in half to serve.
