Description

Cool down with refreshing real fruit slushies this summer. Ridiculously easy to make and only requires 3 ingredients!

Ingredients

Scale

Frozen Blueberries:

  • 2 cups

Pineapple Slices:

  • 1 can (20 oz)

Sprite (optional):

  • 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Place frozen fruits in a blender with 1 cup of canned pineapple juice. Blend until smooth, slushie-consistency.
  2. Pour in Sprite or sparkling drink of choice, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Note 1a: I use canned pineapples in 100% pineapple juice. I freeze the pineapple rinds in a single layer on a baking sheet. I sometimes freeze the pineapple juice too.
  • Note 1b: You can substitute frozen pineapple chunks for canned pineapples!
  • Note 2: You can use water in place of juice if using all frozen fruits and no pineapple juice.
  • Make-Ahead Tips:
    1. I like to make a mega-batch at once and divide them into baby food silicone molds or ice cube trays, then freeze.
    2. Transfer the frozen slushies into a freezer bag for easy access.
    3. When ready to enjoy, blend a few frozen slushie chunks for a quick cool-down!
