Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare pans: Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Beat eggs and sugar: In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and creamy.
  4. Add butter and almond extract: Mix in softened butter and almond extract.
  5. Incorporate dry ingredients: Gradually add dry ingredients to the mix.
  6. Blend in sour cream: Stir in sour cream until smooth.
