- 125 ml milk
- Seeds from 1/2 vanilla bean or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 30 g sugar (original recipe uses 50 g)
- 130 g butter, melted
- 2 g salt
- 3 egg whites (grade C0)
Instructions
- For the vanilla batter: Whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Add milk, melted butter, vanilla seeds (or extract), and egg whites. Mix until smooth and set aside.
- For the chocolate batter: Whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Add melted dark chocolate, milk, melted butter, vanilla seeds (or extract), and egg whites. Stir until fully combined and smooth.
- Preheat the waffle iron.
- Pour batter alternately to create a marbled or half-and-half effect (one side vanilla, one side chocolate).
- Cook according to the waffle iron’s instructions until crispy and golden.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.

- Alternate pouring the batters carefully to create the marbled effect.
- Adjust the sweetness of the chocolate batter to your preference by adding more or less sugar.
