Description

This rich and creamy quiche combines diced ham, gooey cheddar and mozzarella, and a tender egg custard all baked into a flaky pie crust. Perfect for brunch, lunch, or an easy make-ahead breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 1 deep dish pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups ham, diced
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 8 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Layer the diced ham, cheddar, mozzarella, and green onions evenly in the pie crust.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the filling, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  5. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 10–15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked ham for convenience.
  • Great served with a side salad or fruit.
  • Can be refrigerated and reheated for up to 3 days.
