  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix in warm milk, butter, egg, and pandan extract. Knead into a soft dough (about 8–10 minutes).
  2. Cover and let dough rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  3. Roll dough into a rectangle. Brush with melted butter, then sprinkle with shredded coconut and brown sugar.
  4. Roll tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  5. Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Top with toasted coconut flakes before serving.
