- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1 head lettuce (for serving)
- 4 hamburger buns (toasted, optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chuck, ranch dressing mix, and sour cream. Mix until just combined—do not overwork the meat.
- Shape the mixture into 4 large, thick burger patties.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with cheddar cheese and cover with a lid to melt the cheese thoroughly.
- Sprinkle each patty with cooked bacon and allow it to slightly crisp on the hot cheese.
- Serve on buns with fresh lettuce or your toppings of choice.
