Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine custard powder with 1/4 cup milk to form a smooth paste.
- Add remaining milk and sugar to the pan and bring to a gentle boil. Stir continuously until thickened. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
- Mix in fresh cream and cardamom powder if using, and stir until smooth.
- In a serving dish, layer biscuits at the bottom.
- Pour a layer of warm custard over the biscuits and spread evenly.
- Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with a custard layer.
- Sprinkle with crushed biscuits, almonds, and pistachios on top.
- Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight for best texture and flavor. Serve cold.
