Description

This keto condensed milk recipe is a creamy, low-carb alternative to traditional sweetened condensed milk. Made with just three simple ingredients—unsalted butter, heavy cream, and powdered sweetener—it is perfect for keto desserts and is completely sugar-free. The easy stovetop method yields a thick, rich condensed milk that can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sweetener (such as allulose or monk fruit)

Instructions

  1. Heat the Heavy Cream: Place a medium saucepan over medium heat and pour in the heavy cream. Bring it to a gentle boil while stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  2. Add Butter and Sweetener: Reduce the heat to low, then add the unsalted butter and powdered sweetener. Stir continuously until the butter melts completely and the sweetener dissolves in the mixture.
  3. Simmer and Thicken: Continue simmering the mixture on low heat for 15–20 minutes, stirring constantly. The liquid should reduce by about half and thicken to a creamy condensed milk consistency.
  4. Cool and Store: Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the condensed milk to cool to room temperature. Transfer it to a clean jar and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

  • The recipe yields approximately 12 servings.
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) serving size corresponds to about 16 servings per batch.
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) serving size corresponds to about 8 servings per batch.
  • Net carbs are approximately zero since allulose and monk fruit are non-impact sweeteners.
