For the Meatloaf:
- 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-style)
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Glaze:
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Meatloaf – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, and pepper. Transfer mixture to a greased loaf pan and shape evenly.
- Make the Glaze – In a small bowl, stir together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread half of the glaze over the unbaked loaf.
- Bake – Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, add remaining glaze, and return to bake another 15 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.
