Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Meatloaf:

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-style)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meatloaf – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, and pepper. Transfer mixture to a greased loaf pan and shape evenly.
  2. Make the Glaze – In a small bowl, stir together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread half of the glaze over the unbaked loaf.
  3. Bake – Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, add remaining glaze, and return to bake another 15 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.
