Description

A vibrant and easy-to-make vegetable stir fry recipe featuring colorful mixed vegetables and protein-packed tofu tossed in a delectable soy-ginger sauce. This dish is perfect for a quick and nutritious weeknight meal.


Ingredients

Tofu:

  • 1 block firm tofu, cubed and pressed

Stir Fry:

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, bell pepper, carrots)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin or teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

Serving:

  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare Tofu: Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a skillet. Add tofu and cook until golden on all sides. Set aside.
  2. Stir Fry Vegetables: Add remaining oil and stir fry vegetables for 4–5 minutes.
  3. Season: Add garlic, ginger, sauces, and cornstarch slurry. Stir well.
  4. Combine: Return tofu to pan, stir to coat, and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
  5. Serve: Serve over rice.
