- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (or thick curd)
- 1/2 cup melted butter (or neutral oil)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks or chips (plus extra for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together yogurt, sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chunks.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
- Let cool completely before slicing for clean edges and best texture.
