For the Pie:
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 1/3 cups Concord grape juice (not diet)
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into smaller pieces
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse kosher salt
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Prepare the crust: Roll out the pie crust into a 9-inch deep dish pie plate and bake until lightly browned.
