Ground Turkey Chili Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper; sauté until softened. Stir occasionally.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes, beans, and chicken broth. Stir well to combine.
  5. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
