- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 6 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil or neutral oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
- Steamed white rice, for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the shrimp in the mixture until evenly coated.
- Cook the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until lightly browned and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant and golden, about 1 minute.
- Combine and Serve: Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter. Add lemon juice and stir well. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot over a bed of steamed rice.
