- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1/3 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup finely sautéed onion

Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 425 °F (220 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sage, rosemary, and thyme.
- Combine wet ingredients: Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in buttermilk, broth, and sautéed onion until dough forms—don’t overmix.
- Bake: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared sheet, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake 12–15 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
- Optional: If desired, brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle parsley while warm. Serve immediately.
