These golden Herb-Infused Stuffing Biscuits combine the comforting flavors of traditional stuffing—sage, rosemary, thyme, and sautéed onions—in a fluffy, biscuit form. Crispy on the outside and soft inside, they’re perfect alongside holiday meals or as a savory breakfast side.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Dry Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup finely sautéed onion

Optional: fresh chopped parsley for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 425 °F (220 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sage, rosemary, and thyme.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in buttermilk, broth, and sautéed onion until dough forms—don’t overmix.
  4. Bake: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared sheet, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake 12–15 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
  5. Optional: If desired, brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle parsley while warm. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make sure not to overmix the dough to keep the biscuits light and fluffy.
  • These biscuits are best served warm.
