For the Sloppy Joes:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet and cook onion and bell pepper for 3-4 minutes. Saute until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain fat.
- Stir in tomato paste, ketchup, Worcestershire, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
