Description
A light and refreshing summer cocktail blending honeydew juice, elderflower liqueur, and basil, topped with bubbly Prosecco and a splash of citrus.

- 4 oz Prosecco
- 1 oz elderflower liqueur
- 2 oz honeydew juice (fresh or cold-pressed)
- 1/2 oz lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 oz sparkling water
- 1 handful fresh basil leaves (plus extra for garnish)
- Ice cubes
- Optional: honeydew wedge for garnish
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle fresh basil leaves with the lemon juice to release the aroma.
- Add honeydew juice, elderflower liqueur, and a few ice cubes. Shake lightly to combine.
- Strain into a large wine glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top with Prosecco and a splash of sparkling water. Stir gently.
- Garnish with a sprig of basil and a wedge of honeydew melon.
Notes
- Use chilled Prosecco and sparkling water for best results.
- Adjust lemon juice for more or less tartness.
- Perfect as a brunch or garden party cocktail.
