- Oil for frying
Hot Honey Sauce:
- 1/4 cup red chili sauce
- 1 tbsp chili oil
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp honey
Assembly:
- Bread
- Mayonnaise
- Lettuce
- Tomato slices
- Cucumber slices
- Pickled jalapeños
- Spicy fried paneer
Instructions
- Slice your paneer into even pieces. Make the wet mix by combining flour, cornstarch, spices, and water in a bowl until thick enough to coat the paneer.
- Dip each paneer slice into the wet mix and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry the paneer in hot oil until golden and crispy on both sides.
- Prepare the hot honey sauce by mixing red chili sauce, chili oil, ketchup, and honey. Toss the fried paneer in the sauce until coated.
- Toast bread with butter until crispy.
- Assemble the sandwich by spreading mayo on both slices, layering with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled jalapeños, the paneer, and closing the sandwich.
