Description

These Mini Grilled Cheese Hawaiian Rolls are the perfect combination of soft and sweet Hawaiian rolls filled with gooey melted cheddar and mozzarella cheese. A quick and easy snack that’s sure to be a hit!

    Hawaiian Rolls:

  • 12 rolls
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese:

  • 1 cup
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese:

  • 1 cup
  • Butter:

  • 4 tbsp (softened)
  • Garlic Powder:

  • 1 tsp (optional)
  • Dried Herbs:

  • 1 tsp (optional – oregano or basil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them.
  3. Generously spread softened butter on the cut sides of the rolls.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder over the buttered rolls if desired.
  5. Layer shredded cheddar and mozzarella over the bottom half of the rolls.
  6. Place the top half back onto the cheese-covered bottom half.
  7. Wrap the sandwich tightly in aluminum foil.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  9. Unwrap and return the rolls to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to crisp up.
  10. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
