Description

A refreshing and vibrant Pomegranate Mojito, this non-alcoholic mint drink combines the tartness of pomegranate juice with the cooling flavors of mint and lime, sweetened with sugar syrup and topped with soda water for a fizzy finish. Perfect for a summer refreshment or any time you want a delicious, alcohol-free cocktail.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons sugar syrup
  • 1/2 cup soda water (sparkling water)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Muddle Mint and Lime: In a sturdy glass or cocktail shaker, gently muddle 10 fresh mint leaves with the lime wedges to release the mint oils and lime juice without shredding the mint completely.
  2. Add Pomegranate Juice and Ice: Pour 1 cup of pomegranate juice into the glass and add about 1 cup of ice cubes to chill the mixture.
  3. Top with Soda Water: Slowly top the drink with 1/2 cup of soda water to add a fizzy texture.
  4. Stir Lightly: Give the cocktail a light stir to combine the flavors while keeping the soda water’s fizz intact. Garnish with a sprig of mint or a lime wedge if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the sugar syrup to your taste preference if you prefer a sweeter or less sweet drink.
  • Use fresh, cold soda water for best fizz.
  • For an adult version, you can add a splash of white rum.
  • Crushed ice can be used instead of cubes for a slushier texture.
  • Ensure to muddle gently to avoid bitterness from crushed mint leaves.
