Description

A vibrant layered cocktail with Empress Indigo Gin, sweet pineapple, tart lemon, and creamy orgeat—tropical elegance in a glass.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz Empress 1908 Indigo Gin
  • 2 1/2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz orgeat syrup
  • Ice (crushed or cubed)
  • Pineapple slice, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a shaker, combine pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orgeat syrup with ice. Shake well until chilled.
  2. Strain into a tall glass filled with crushed ice.
  3. Slowly pour the Empress gin over the back of a spoon to float on top, creating a two-tone layer.
  4. Garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge.
  5. Serve immediately and stir before drinking to blend the flavors.

Notes

  • Use clear or light-colored glassware to highlight the cocktail’s layered look.
  • Chill your glass beforehand for a longer-lasting chill.
