A hearty and flavorful meal made by cooking tender steak, seasoned potatoes, and corn on the cob in foil, perfect for an easy and satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 steaks (sirloin, ribeye, or your preferred cut)
- 4 medium-sized potatoes, diced
- 2 ears of corn, cut into thirds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the potatoes into small cubes and season them with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Tear off four large sheets of aluminum foil. Place a handful of diced potatoes, one steak, and a few pieces of corn on each sheet.
- Drizzle a little more olive oil over the ingredients and fold the foil to seal the packets tightly.
- Place the foil packs on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the potatoes are tender.
- Remove the foil packs from the oven and carefully open them.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For an extra flavor boost, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a dollop of butter on top of the steak before sealing the foil pack.
- These foil packs are versatile – feel free to add other veggies like bell peppers or onions for more variety.
- Ensure the foil packs are tightly sealed to retain the juices and flavors while cooking.
