Description

A hearty and flavorful meal made by cooking tender steak, seasoned potatoes, and corn on the cob in foil, perfect for an easy and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 steaks (sirloin, ribeye, or your preferred cut)
  • 4 medium-sized potatoes, diced
  • 2 ears of corn, cut into thirds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
  • Aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the potatoes into small cubes and season them with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  4. Tear off four large sheets of aluminum foil. Place a handful of diced potatoes, one steak, and a few pieces of corn on each sheet.
  5. Drizzle a little more olive oil over the ingredients and fold the foil to seal the packets tightly.
  6. Place the foil packs on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the potatoes are tender.
  7. Remove the foil packs from the oven and carefully open them.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra flavor boost, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a dollop of butter on top of the steak before sealing the foil pack.
  • These foil packs are versatile – feel free to add other veggies like bell peppers or onions for more variety.
  • Ensure the foil packs are tightly sealed to retain the juices and flavors while cooking.
