Description

Strawberry Milk Pancakes are a delightful and quick breakfast option that combines the sweetness of strawberry milk with a fluffy pancake texture. These soft and airy pancakes are perfect for a cozy morning treat, made with simple ingredients and ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Wet Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup strawberry milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp salted butter, melted

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the strawberry milk, egg, and melted salted butter until fully combined.
  2. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift or mix together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to ensure even distribution of the leavening agents.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring gently and continuously until the batter is smooth with no lumps, taking care not to overmix.
  4. Heat and Prepare Skillet: Preheat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and spray lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  5. Cook Pancakes: Using a 1/4 cup measure, pour batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 1-2 minutes. Flip the pancake carefully and cook the other side until golden and cooked through, about another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve: Remove pancakes from heat and serve warm with your choice of syrup, fresh strawberries, or additional toppings.

Notes

  • For extra strawberry flavor, consider serving with fresh strawberries or a strawberry syrup.
  • Do not overmix the batter to keep the pancakes light and fluffy.
  • Adjust heat as needed to avoid burning the pancakes before they are cooked through.
  • You can substitute salted butter with unsalted and add a pinch more salt if preferred.
