Scale
Wet Ingredients
- 3/4 cup strawberry milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 Tbsp salted butter, melted
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the strawberry milk, egg, and melted salted butter until fully combined.
- Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift or mix together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to ensure even distribution of the leavening agents.
- Combine Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring gently and continuously until the batter is smooth with no lumps, taking care not to overmix.
- Heat and Prepare Skillet: Preheat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and spray lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Cook Pancakes: Using a 1/4 cup measure, pour batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 1-2 minutes. Flip the pancake carefully and cook the other side until golden and cooked through, about another 1-2 minutes.
- Serve: Remove pancakes from heat and serve warm with your choice of syrup, fresh strawberries, or additional toppings.
Notes
- For extra strawberry flavor, consider serving with fresh strawberries or a strawberry syrup.
- Do not overmix the batter to keep the pancakes light and fluffy.
- Adjust heat as needed to avoid burning the pancakes before they are cooked through.
- You can substitute salted butter with unsalted and add a pinch more salt if preferred.
