- 1 teaspoon pure strawberry extract
- 1/2 teaspoon red gel food coloring
SPARKLING STRAWBERRY SUGAR:
- 1/2 cup white or red sparkling sugar
- 1 Tablespoon freeze dried strawberry powder
Instructions
- PREPARE FREEZE-DRIED STRAWBERRY POWDER: Blend or process the strawberries into a fine powder. Mix with sugar and store.
- PREPARE SPARKLING STRAWBERRY SUGAR: Combine fruit powder with sparkling sugar. Store.
- PREHEAT OVEN: Heat to 350℉ and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- PREPARE COOKIE DOUGH: Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and extracts. Mix flour mixture until just combined. Chill dough.
- ROLL DOUGH: Form dough balls, coat in Sparkling Strawberry Sugar, and place on baking sheets.
- BAKE: Bake for about 10 minutes until set.
- COOL AND STORE: Cool on a rack and store in an airtight container.
