Bread:

Strawberry Cream Cheese Filling:

  • 1214 ounces strawberry cream cheese (softened to room temperature)

Fresh Strawberries:

  • 68 pieces fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Spread one side of each slice of bread with cream cheese.
  2. Cutting Shapes: Using a cookie cutter, cut two hearts out of each slice of bread. Save the scraps for snacking.
  3. Prepare Strawberries: Slice the strawberries into thin slices and arrange them on the cream cheese.
  4. Assembling: For open-faced sandwiches, top all 12 hearts with strawberries. For closed-faced sandwiches, top 6 hearts with strawberries and cover them with the remaining 6 hearts.
