Sugar Cookie Truffles:
- 2 cups crushed sugar cookies (about 10–12 sugar cookies)
- 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
Coating:
- 1 bag (10 oz) vanilla flavored melting wafers
- Red & green sprinkles
Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or tin foil.
- Crush sugar cookies: Put the sugar cookies into a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs.
- Mix ingredients: Combine sugar cookie crumbs and softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl.
- Form truffle balls: Roll tablespoons of dough into balls and place on the prepared cookie sheet. Freeze for 10 minutes.
- Prepare coating: Microwave melting wafers according to package directions.
- Coat truffles: Dip truffles in melted wafers using a fork, then freeze for 5 minutes.
- Decorate truffles: Drizzle extra melted wafers over truffles, sprinkle with sprinkles.
- Chill and serve: Store truffles in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
Notes
- You can customize the truffles by using different colored melting wafers and assorted sprinkles.
