- 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Topping:
- 3 cups (90 g) cornflakes cereal, crushed
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions or chives (optional)
- 1/4 cup (25 g) Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Thaw Hash Browns: If hash browns are frozen, thaw completely by refrigerating overnight or spreading on paper towels for about 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Mix Potato Mixture: In a large bowl, combine thawed hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, melted butter, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Gently stir until coated.
- Add Cheese: Fold in shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, reserving some for topping if desired.
