  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

  • 0.5 tsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
  • Toppings:

  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream
  • green onions (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef: Cook ground beef with onions and garlic in a skillet; drain fat.
  2. Transfer to slow cooker: Place the beef mixture in the slow cooker.
  3. Add ingredients: Add beans, crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, and spices.
  4. Combine: Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cook: Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
