Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 English cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 loaf white bread, crusts removed

Instructions

  1. Cream Cheese Mixture: With a hand mixer, combine cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in dill, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread: Spread the cream cheese mixture onto one side of each bread slice.
  3. Layer Cucumbers: Thinly slice the cucumbers and layer them over half of the bread slices. Add more herbs if desired.
  4. Assemble: Top with the remaining bread slices, remove crusts if preferred, and cut each sandwich into 3 pieces.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately or store covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
