Description

This refreshing Lemon Lavender Gin Spritz is a delightful cocktail that combines floral and citrus flavors for a perfect summer drink.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender

Cocktail:

  • 1 teaspoon butterfly pea pollen powder
  • 4 oz cold water
  • Ice
  • 4 oz gin
  • 2 oz lavender syrup
  • 6 oz lemonade
  • Sparkling water
  • Butterfly pea pollen mixture, optional
  • Lemon slices, for optional garnish
  • Lavender sprigs, for optional garnish

Instructions

  1. Make the Syrup: Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes. Add dried lavender, steep, cool, and strain.
  2. Prepare the Cocktail: Fill glasses with ice. In a shaker, combine gin, lavender syrup, and lemonade with ice. Shake well and strain into glasses. Top with sparkling water.
  3. Optional Butterfly Pea Pollen: Slowly pour over the cocktail for a color-changing effect.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Add lemon slices, lavender sprigs, and serve immediately.
