No-Boil Lasagna Noodles:
- 12 sheets
Ricotta Cheese Mixture:
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
Cheese Layers:
- 16 oz mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
Meat Layer:
- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
Sauce:
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C).
- Brown the meat: Brown beef or sausage in a skillet over medium heat, drain fat.
- Add garlic and sauce: Add garlic, cook 1 min, then add marinara sauce and simmer.
- Mix ricotta: Combine ricotta, egg, basil, and half of Parmesan.
- Layer: Start with meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mix, mozzarella, repeat layers finishing with noodles and Parmesan.
- Bake: Cover with foil, bake 30 mins, then uncover and bake 15-20 mins until golden.
- Rest and serve: Let rest 10-15 mins before slicing and serving.
