  • 1 roll breakfast sausage
  • 1 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 green onion, diced
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the Sausage: Cook, brown, and crumble the sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Once cooked, remove excess grease.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Soften cream cheese and mix with garlic powder, cooked sausage, and diced green onion until well combined.
  3. Assemble the Pinwheels: Roll out crescent rolls on parchment paper, pinch the seams together to form a rectangle. Spread the sausage mixture over the dough, then roll it up lengthwise.
  4. Chill and Slice: Wrap the roll in parchment paper and plastic wrap, freeze for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 375°F, slice the chilled roll into 1/4 inch thick pieces.
