Cake:
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 3 large Eggs

- 1 cup Whole Milk
Custard:
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- 4 large Egg Yolks
- 2 cups Fresh Strawberries
Instructions
- Making the Cake Preheat oven, prepare pans, mix dry ingredients, cream butter and sugar, add eggs and vanilla, alternate dry ingredients and milk, bake, and cool.
- Making the Custard and Assembling Heat milk, combine sugar, cornstarch, and egg yolks, thicken mixture, slice cakes, layer with custard and strawberries, repeat, top with custard and strawberries, chill.
Notes
- You can decorate the top with additional whipped cream for an extra touch.
